Israel’s Prospects Have Never Been Brighter
We are used to and almost inured to the daily bad news from the Middle East – bloodshed, riots, car bombings and more. But there is one spot of shining light in the area – a country forged in almost unending wars, a country that has absorbed millions of immigrants: Israel – its prospects have never been brighter.

The question is not whether the Palestinians are an "invented people," but rather why Arabs deny Jewish history and Jewish rights to a state in Israel.
The recent brouhaha about whether the Palestinians are an "invented people" misses the point. The real question we should ask is, "Why do Palestinian Arabs repudiate 3,000 years of Jewish history in Palestine and the rights of Jews to a state in their ancestral homeland?" Can peace really be achieved if the Palestinians teach their people the lie that Jews are newcomers and Palestinians were the original inhabitants of the Holy Land?

The Palestinians spurn U.S. diplomatic requests and snub U.S. financial aid. Should we be sending them nearly a billion dollars a year?
Despite all efforts by President Obama, the Palestinian Authority (P.A.) has rejected U.S. diplomatic efforts and a negotiated peace with Israel by requesting a unilateral declaration of Palestinian statehood at the United Nations. The P.A. also announced a merger with the Islamic terror group Hamas. Currently the U.S. sends some $600 million dollars annually in direct aid to the P.A., plus an additional $225 million in funding through the U.N. Is this the best use of American tax dollars?

Dear Friend
of Israel, dear Friend of FLAME: |
Momentous events are roiling the North African Arab countries. The "presidents"/tyrants of Tunisia and Egypt have been sent packing. The drama is still playing out in most of the rest of those countries. Moammar Gaddafi (Libya's hateful dictator and, we believe, a confirmed nut case) is fighting his own people with his military and has so far killed thousands. No end is in sight, though it is quite clear that in the unlikely case that Gaddafi has not been killed by his own minions, he will be exiled and disappear from the world's stage.
As of this writing, the situation in Syria is fluid. Bashar Assad, the second in a tyrannical dynastic line started by his father, has so far killed thousands of his own countrymen. In this he follows very much the practice of his bloodthirsty father, who, in one instance (in 1982) had about 20,000 restive Syrians in the city of Hama killed.
These important events are of interest to the world, which may even take sides in the conflict, just as our country and NATO have done in the case of Libya. But for Israel, these events are of vital and of existential importance …
